Ministries

 

The church family of Cole Memorial cares about people, and cares about you, too!  Here are some ways that you can get involved with Cole and with our community.

 

Music​

Our Chancel Choir rehearses on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm in the choir suite.  All voices are welcome! 

​

Room In the Inn​


Every Thursday night December- March, Cole hosts Room in the Inn, which provides a hot supper, a warm place to sleep and a good breakfast to our local homeless community during the winter months.  Volunteers are always welcome, call the church office for imformation

 

Disciples Food Pantry

 

Our Cooperative Food Pantry is located at 
6440 Old Statesville Road, hosted by Oak Grove UMC.
It is open every Thursday 10:00am - 12:00n.
If you or someone you know has a need, please come by during the pantry's operating hours, and we would be happy to serve you.

Ways to help:

  •  Food donations are accepted through the box located in the Narthex.

  • Cash donations are also accepted, which are used to purchase food from the Second Harvest Food Bank, which supplies the pantry at an incredibly low cost.

  •  Volunteers are also welcome, and needed, on Thursdays 10:00am – 12:00n.
